Master thesis
My master graduation project was a research project investigating how gift giving of digital media can be enhanced with physical fits. It is inspired by intercultural rituals of gift-giving throughout our history.
Design
Digital media is (was at the moment of the project) an upcoming feat. The report got a modern style that fitted with the theme, using flat illustrations, one color for highlights and full-page photographs.
Thesis cover
The thesis cover is a special feature. It is made from the same material as the final design of the project: balsa wood. The wood is engraved with text and the logo. The cover gives the thesis a luxurious feel, evoking a feeling of value to the recipient. Balsa is fragile, forcing the reading to be careful with the booklet.
Fonts and paragraphs
All graphic elements of the project use the font-family Open Sans, either regular or italic. All headers and titles use the font Steinem Roman Bold.
